In this walkthrough video, our technician demonstrates the installation of two TurboCool units to cool a pool patio under a pergola. The TurboCool units emit a high-pressure micro-mist of filtered water, which evaporates 3-5 feet from the ejection ports, cooling the air without wetting people or objects. This effect is achieved by forcing filtered water through proprietary nozzles and using high-speed fans to eject the mist.
The micro-mist cools the air molecules around the ejection ports and evaporates almost instantly due to the temperature difference and ejection speed. This technology, developed by Ventizio’s parent company, Lyfe Outdoor Comfort Solutions, is also used in mosquito misting systems in Tampa Bay and surrounding counties.
TurboCool operates differently from traditional misting systems, which release larger droplets at low speed, making people and objects wet and potentially causing mold due to water condensation. TurboCool’s high-speed ejection of micro-droplets prevents condensation and mold, making it ideal for Florida’s humid climate.
Homeowners and commercial venues like restaurants, bars, resorts, hotels, and wedding venues prefer Ventizio’s systems for guest comfort. The systems are cost-effective, paying for themselves quickly, and are much less expensive to run than traditional outdoor air conditioning.
