Mosquito killing and mosquito control is why we started our business. Since 2004, A-NIKS (Automated Natural Insect Killing System) has provided superior mosquito killing systems and ongoing service from Tampa to Daytona to Miami. Here are some of the top reasons that flying/biting insect control is so important:

Disease – Mosquito-borne diseases found in Florida include West Nile virus disease, Eastern equine encephalitis, and St. Louis encephalitis. Many other mosquito-borne diseases are found in different parts of the world, and can be brought back to Florida if infected people or animals are bitten by mosquitoes while in Florida.

Mutations, storms and growth – Remember the Gallinippers?! And don’t forget all the standing water we had after T.S. Debbie that created thousands of perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Or the SOHO Super-Resistors that required a change in our chemical combination! Expanded residential growth in Parrish/Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area stirred up an overwhelming need for immediate mosquito and no-see-um control.

We know chemicals have a bad reputation, and often, rightfully so. Quite honestly, we could not live in Florida without them! They’re in our food, our personal products, everywhere! We have found that The right amount of the right stuff at the right time effectively kills and controls problem insects with no impact on you, your family, your guests, your pets, or your outdoor environment. Three different applications ensure we have the right solution to your mosquito and no-see-um problem!

Installed systems:

Professional, custom installation of automatic timed systems ensure you enjoy out-of-mind, continuous uninterrupted service while keeping your outdoor spaces bug free. Proven mosquito control also effective for killing no-see-ums, and up to 250 additional flying pests, as well as spiders. We continue to adapt as needed to ever-changing conditions in Florida. Our chemical compounds include bio-selective chemical that affects the nervous systems of specific, targeted insects. An aerator in the reservoir ensures the chemicals are kept blended for optimal effectiveness.

Bug killing isn’t pretty! But our outdoor pest control experts will lay out your own custom-designed system to blend discreetly and aesthetically with your outdoor surroundings and areas while providing optimal coverage. Nozzles are usually placed around the perimeter of the property, along roof lines, on fences and trees. Using copper or PVC risers, we place them in flower beds, along walkways, or around decks. Custom nozzle placement is based on your needs and lifestyle. You want full coverage around the back yard, and a nozzle or two around the door up front? No problem! We’ll draw a layout for the placement of nozzles and provide you with a free estimate.

The A-NIKS mosquito killing system is designed to run when mosquitoes and no-see-ums are most active. We find that three times a day, at dawn, dusk and after dark, for 30-45 seconds each time, kills the bugs in the air. With a continual dose of the chrysanthemum based chemical, which is naturally toxic to their nervous systems, new swarms won’t be interested in coming into your yard. Our compound includes an insect growth inhibitor, which kills any larval growth before it reaches maturity.

The automated system allows for manual override as needed, for a pause during a scheduled spray time, which kicks in automatically at the next scheduled time. Ours is the only system on the market with a true pause function. We know that mosquitoes aren’t quite as heavy in the winter months. At that time, we recommend cutting back to only one spray a day. That keeps the system active, but still applies a dosage that keeps rogue bugs away.
